Our friends at Sextosol are working in Chiapas, Mexico to develop coffee grower cooperatives, finding new markets and demonstrating sustainable agriculture self sufficienty gardens as an alternative to the destabilizing export crop. "Growning only corn is growing only poverty" says Francisco Barrios, program director. The Sustainable Erie is a grassroots education project that helps guide the development of the Erie, Colorado area to insure that certain standards of "sustainable community planning" are followed, protecting future generations from mistakes of their past. Carebridge is a networking forum site advocating sustainable practices in U.N. Refugee camps. E-town engages radio audiences nationwide in appreciating and protecting our diverse cultural and natural resources. Free Speech TV has one of the largest alternative media archives on the Internet.
